Today I finally got over to the newly opened, The Farm, at Snitterfield near Stratford-upon-Avon which is a farmshop/artisan deli and cafe with a cooking school coming soon. The shop/deli has a bakery, butcher, fishmonger and cheesemonger as well as having other local produce for sale such as fruit and vegetables, beers and ciders and a self-service station for nuts, dried fruits and pulses (they encourage you to bring your own receptacle for this). It also has a chocolate shop and a wine bar. The shop is really well set out, the produce looks lovely and the staff are very knowledegeable and happy to answer your questions.
We decided to have breakfast at the cafe, which is called Nourish, while we were there. I had the cooked breakfast which was delicious; the sausage was particularly nice. I also had a flat white and it was very good. As well as having a vast breakfast menu, they do pastries, cakes (which looked amazing), salads, sandwiches and even sourdough pizzas cooked in a traditional pizza oven.
Whether for the cafe or for the shop, The Farm is well worth a visit. Be aware though, the cafe gets busy very quickly and you may have to wait for a table, but good things are worth the wait!
